Here are some photos of Domino, just because he's cute. My Mum bought him for my little nieces early last month - I was kind of mad because we definitely didn't need another one, but it's hard to stay mad about him.

Oh my!!! Super cute!!! Yep, cant be mad at that :love Beautiful set up. Wow!

My little mule Hombre was limping the last few days. Probably from goofing w/ his brother or helicopters flying overhead and spooking them. No bruising, hot spots or anything too scary, so I rubbed him with liniment all up and down his leg and then wrapped him for a few days. Today he looks sound but I am going to give him another few day off. Maybe he was faking it?!!

Hello everyone! I haven't posted on here in a while. Welcome to the new people who joined!
I'm very excited to say I'm going to my first show on the 13th :celebrate I'm using Amarillo, the mare I have been riding, in a real barrel race. It's a smaller local show, so it's perfect for me lol. As long as I don't make any big mistakes, I'll be happy with however it turns out.

Thank you so much! :D I'm gonna be the newbie (newbie at barrel racing at least lol) at the show with the 25 year old horse, but I think it'll be a lot of fun to see where my skill is at compared to other riders. :gig

I noticed you said Hombre was limping in another post...How is he doing today?

He seems to be good, i'm almost ready to put him back to work. Maybe Monday so I am sure he is good. I don't want him going backwards... so to speak ha ha! The liniment and wrapping worked well in aiding his recovery. Think he and his brother got into a tiff and he got schooled. What ever it was he is being rather sweet now... and that is very nice for my sour little mule.
I hope you get some photos on the 13th to share with us! :D And you have a really good time and everyone behaves.

Glad to hear! Hopefully he'll do just fine on Monday. I can't help but think of the mare I used to ride, Missy, who had these sores on her legs that she wouldn't let heal...horses can be so difficult sometimes. :gig

I sure will! Thank you. My dad is getting all into photography so I hope he comes and maybe he'll have fun getting some action shots, lol. All I want is for my run to be recorded. :p
