This is the first van we have owned, and it is priceless because it is so versatile. Right now, it is the meat chick brooder... the chicks have lived in it since day 1, and will be transported to the Amish in it to be processed. It is fully air-ride with camera systems and hydraulic ramps. It truly does "float" down the road, BUT, it does have a very high center of gravity, so you have to be aware of curves and turns at speed. It is definitely NOT safer than a normal "pull behind" trailer in that respect. The pictures are the day we picked it up, it had been repo'd and sold at an auction. It needed a little cleaning up and about $10k worth of engine work, but it is good as new now. Purchase price.... was $6k. For a van that sold for $150k new a few years ago. Steal of the century!
Wow, what a find!

LOL, yep.
Muggy fly season has begun...
Just in time for my gelding to destroy his fly mask, gurrr! I dug through my stuff and found a spare, but it was in pretty sad shape. So I ordered 3 more, to have two spares, and he'll just have to go without until they get here. Oh well, all of us at my barn split the price of some fly predators, and it's still late-spring weather here, so it's not like he's being tortured (he's a bit of a diva...)

Aloha horse people, just waking up this thread again. I have not been out riding this week, yet. Been a little busy and just thought i would share.

Hudson has his teeth done yesterday and they literally had to sedate him coz he turned dangerous to the point where he would lash out with his hooves and stuff like that. He was dopey all day. And I connected with an old pony club friend of mine I haven’t seen or spoken to since I was 10. Horse riding lesson today!!!!! Can’t wait

@Peaches Lee -That actually sounds delicious lol and right on!
One of our seed companies has diversified and started growing alfalfa just down the street from us. We picked up our 4th ton today. We of course, split with a friend, not many have the storage for that kind of tonnage here. Would be pretty dreamy if could, it still has cut our feed costs in half and I am thrilled. Sometimes little things are big things ;)
