Horse Costume Help!!

Yeah!! I could wear a santa hat and make Toby a reindeer!!! What other stuff could I use for a reindeer costume?

And this is a pic from a halloween trail ride, my friend put a green blanket on her mare, OVER her saddle, and we rode a 3 mile ride.. she went as a "zombie" and her zombie horse!! LOL

You could make him up as a Gypsy Vanner by putting some of that 'shaggy' fabric around his lower legs and mane and tail, you can get it from Joanne Fabric. You can dress yourself up as a gypsy then.

Most dollar tree stores sell antlers in two sets with little bells on them.. You can use both sets to give him a bigger "spread" OR make some out of cardboard, similar to caribou antlers and attach them with zip ties to the bridle.
You could put a brown fabric or blanket on him, and then get a little white tail and paint his nose red. You could then dress like a santa and have some fake bags, and have small ones with candy in it!!

Just a thought.. I am too good with costumes.

I found these on our local horse assc. site... I think most people think cheap antlers, tinsel, bows, red felt or red horse blanket, and garland... and then they dress like a present, tree, santa, or an elf.

This second one was different, as the horse has snow flakes on the blanket. I have not seen that in any other pics I tried to find on the net.
