Horse Fly Spray Without Scent?

Soo, my horse hates the smell of normal fly spray. Is there any fly spray I can make without smell, and without using too many items? This would be greatly appreciated because we live in AZ, which has LOTS of flies.

I know you can make an apple cider vinegar horse spray. I don't know the exact recipe but I'm sure you could look it up online. Good luck.
