I have seen them chase deer out of the pasture, and sometimes young horses will chase Canada geese, for fun, but that's it. Mary

Thanks for all the responses.....as for horses as guard dogs? Doesn't happen at my place! I'm going to start the horses on their feed-through.....with hopes that the chickens will take over as junior fly-control managers.
