I’ve only ridden western. For farm work I can’t imagine an English, has anyone tried it? Just out of curiosity lol.

Yes! I love english! I suggested a Ghost saddle earlier, that has a western, and english model that I think everyone here should try!I’ve only ridden western. For farm work I can’t imagine an English, has anyone tried it? Just out of curiosity lol.
Here is the whole everything! Read what I quoted above! What saddles do you guys ride in? Any english riders out there? I ride in a Ghost saddle, which is an elevated english saddle, that is SUPER comfortable for the horse, light weight, and puts hardly any pressure, or discomfort on the horses back, withers, and no contact with the horses sides. It will fit ANY breed, space and size of horse, because the foam panels, or shims on the sides and of the saddle, attach with velcro, and can be removed, and moved around the base of the saddle, to adjusts fit. It is also NOT at all binding! The panels, sit directly across from each other, on either side of the spine, and don't go down the whole side of the horse, so it doesn't bind the shoulders. It succeeds the rigidity test, and is really comfortable on the horses back. I LOVE my Ghost, and my Misty loves it to, since every other western/english saddle I have ridden her in, was either tight, or binding. I would suggest a Ghost to everyone who rides horses in this thread! A few links to give you more info! https://www.statelinetack.com/item/tough1-1200d-snuggit-turnout-300g/E005430/

Awesome. Eventually, lol. Once I move out I'm definitely getting at least one horse.Yes! I LOVE galloping! My misty, is very sporty and great at also everything, I love her so much! Do you plan to get horses eventually?
Can it stand up to roping and tying it on the horn? Are they strong enough for that? I meant just English saddles in general, but that’s awesome.Yes! I love english! I suggested a Ghost saddle earlier, that has a western, and english model that I think everyone here should try!
I haven't done much research on the western model, but here is the link. I know that it is super comfortable on my horse, here is a link, I hope it works for you! I don't know what area you live in, but there are bunch of dealers here- http://www.ghostsaddle.com/dealers.html where you can look for it, and there is a model overview of the western model here- https://www.equinewhispers.com/en-gb/western?search=ghost western It isn't much different from a normal western, other then it will fit any horse you ever ride, and it isn't as binding on the shoulders. Hope this helps! Can it stand up to roping and tying it on the horn? Are they strong enough for that? I meant just English saddles in general, but that’s awesome.
Oh, no worries. I've had horses my whole life. It wouldn't be my first foal/weanling. I was thinking more along the lines of not wanting to wait for a weanling to grow up--I could just hop on a trained adult and go!An adult, trained! Unless you have some serious experience, or have a trainer you are willing to pay to work with you get one already trained and grown.

What is a Ghost? A saddle??I have a ghost, anyone who wants me to give them a run through on the saddle, I can make a video for you can show you how the saddle works! I will have to do it through convo though, but can add any of you who want to see it, all to the same convo. Just an offer! I am not the most exprinaced Ghost owner, your best bet is to call the number of your nearest dealer, and they can answer all your questions!
