Horse Pictures (Pic Heavy)

Gorgeous paints! I especially love Tuff-what a handsome boy! Your old perch x morgan looks nice, too. I would love to have that mix, AND have it be gaited on top of that-wow!

A horse that is tied should absolutely not be able to lay down! It would be extremely dangerous. Tying a horse too long is dangerous as they may get a leg over the rope and cause serious injury to themselves. The safest way to tie a horse is to do so at or above the horse's eye level, and typically allow about two feet of rope. As long as the horse can hold its head in a normal relaxed position the rope is not too short.

Yes typically, like I said just wanted to make sure at the time it was posted I am sure not the case and I did not know the circumstances depends how long there I guess I have seen bad things such as no fencing then being tied instead again I am sure that is not the case here.....but if the case which not acceptable and could be very dangerous as well in its own right they do need to lay down.

Too long of a lead can also cause whiplash in a spooked horse.
