Bennie finally got Star to halt when they arrived home, the horse was covered in sweat. Bennie figured it was warm enough that Star wouldn't get sick from cooling off too fast, so she quickly removed the tack and did a quick curry comb brushing over the mare. She did not put the mare in the paddock, but left her to roam the yard in case the fire got close. She then opened the paddock door, so that Chocolate could escape as well.

Willow and Charlotte galloped straight into the pen after the cattle and closed the gate, a trailer would be here in a minute to get them. Both girls walked their horses home, and Willow waved slightly at Bennie as her and Charlotte untacked their horses.

Bennie waved back, "I hope the fire doesnt get close." She looled with a worried face

Even Willow, who was an arrogant snob, was trying not to cry. The fire was getting close to her dads stable, and she was scared. Char hugged Willow, then Bennie. "It'll be okay.."

Guys! I just got two new OTTBs and I'm so excited! One is called Archie or Broken Arrow (gelding) and he's dark bay, the other is London Sunset or London (mare) and she is a chestnut with chrome (I think, not that great with horse colors) and a star.

Bennie watched the fire furiously burn, Star tossed her head, and trotted anxiously around, ask if telling Bennie they needed to go. NOW.

The only thing is Archie is quite thin, due to being fresh off the track...but that's nothing a few groceries can't fix.//

Legacy and Queen were throwing their heads and their bodies were tense, eyes wide. Charlotte and Willow kept the horses heads tight enough to where they couldn't toss them to much.
