She is cute. Makes me want to go bid on a mustang. Think they have a 20 year old to go with all the other old horses on this place.

Thank you! Even though he's just grey I always thought he was beautiful. I sure do miss him. I just bought a halter and lead rope and rope reins for the guy who's coming home Saturday. Not that I don't already have 4 halters and 3 lead ropes at home haha. Couldn't resist. And does anyone know where I can get a good bitless bridle?
    And name suggestions! Lol

Don't know about a bitless bridle as I don't do much shopping for tack. I bought mine used (came with my free horse) but my bridles had bits.

Do you have a picture of your new horse? Maybe you posted before and I didn't see :)

The only name I like so far is Koda, but I'd like to name him after Outlaw some how

How about Buffalo Bill and Cody for a nickname?

What kind of headgear are they riding him in now? If it's a snaffle bit or sidepull, then I sure wouldn't switch him to a "bitless bridle."

    They're using a hackamore or a halter

Then I would go with a hackamore, a halter, or a sidepull. A "bitless bridle" does not work the same, and is likely to just confuse him. I am not a fan of the "bitless bridle."

Hmm okay. I bought a halter and some rope reins today, so that should work. I want to get him neck reining that way I can go tackless. He's got an awesome voice command whoa and back up already, and they've been working a little bit with neck reining so I don't think it'll be too hard.
When I say tackless I mean neck rope only
