Yeah I think it just depends on the horse too, those two quarter horses didn't get fat easy but I've had another qh that did get fat easily. But I've never had an underweight horse, so either way it's fine. But I do prefer them a little fatter.
And I would love to have that mustang so much. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw her, considering she's pretty much my exact dream horse. There was at least one bid on her last time I checked, so I'm glad she'll be getting adopted. Although, she was up last month too and had several bids, but I guess the winner didn't show up to get her or something because she's on again.
This is the first mustang I had, his name was Outlaw

He's handsome!

Thank you! Even though he's just grey I always thought he was beautiful. I sure do miss him. I just bought a halter and lead rope and rope reins for the guy who's coming home Saturday. Not that I don't already have 4 halters and 3 lead ropes at home haha. Couldn't resist. And does anyone know where I can get a good bitless bridle?
And name suggestions! Lol

Don't know about a bitless bridle as I don't do much shopping for tack. I bought mine used (came with my free horse) but my bridles had bits.

Do you have a picture of your new horse? Maybe you posted before and I didn't see :)

I posted already but here they are again!

The only name I like so far is Koda, but I'd like to name him after Outlaw some how

Hmm okay. I bought a halter and some rope reins today, so that should work. I want to get him neck reining that way I can go tackless. He's got an awesome voice command whoa and back up already, and they've been working a little bit with neck reining so I don't think it'll be too hard.
When I say tackless I mean neck rope only
