Eli already grabs the rope sometimes, so I didn't think it would do much difference. Where would I get a rubber bit? Is it a rubber coated normal one or just plain rubber?

ive heard of the happy mouth ones. a friend of mine tried one in her horse and she didn't like it. she said the horse hated it. thought hat was strange since it is called happy mouth. lol. Do you think it would hurt to just use the rope then?"Happy mouth" designs are a metal bit covered in rubber, but there are plain rubber bits as well. Some people consider them just a training bit, but if a horse accepts it without chewing on it, others will use it when riding or driving. The problem I see with them is that they are rather thick (the "happy mouth" type even more so), and there is only so much room in a mini's mouth.![]()
Well, I did warn ya it was a long story. Back when we first tried to buy our property, which is right across the road from our house, that's why you'll often hear me calling it "across the road", the man who owned it was going through a divorce. It took us 4 years to get the land. Then one day after almost giving up on it, our realtor called and said "it's yours!". We joked about it being promised land then like the Israelites and MosesYeah, can't decide if I want to do mine "ranch" or farm" I think ranch sounds nicer but I'm not sure if I can consider myself oneThe J in mine is for June and the R is for my dog Roxy.![]()
And Promised Land Farm sounds nice, now I wanna know the story lol
