So the Craigslist wood was not as good as I thought. Rather than take any of the wood apart, they cut the entire deck in 3' x 3' pieces, which are pretty much useless :-(
I did look around the farm and, low and behold, I have more than enough lumber left over from other projects to build a chicken coop into the front of my trailer
I started it today and I'm making good progress. It looks like the coop will be ready long before the chicks are old enough to put out there. Yay!
