Yeah, it is, Roosters are not permitted (because of noise). Also, if you live in NYC, The health department of New York City banned roosters because of their cruel behavior towards residents of New York City.

My gelding, very originally called Clyde, was an accident at stud.... I've had him since he was 10, he's 21 now and looks like a young thing. Only issue is he's a bit to find of pulling with his shoulders, breed hazard I guess for a horse half designed to pull a plough

I suppose that makes sense......not something you hear of here. I did have a friend who's noisy peacock disappeared one night after frequent visits to the wee neighbouring village were complained about!
