Penny and Zelig ran with the others, their hearts pounding. Penny's sides ached, but she kept an even stride, never slowing. She was also clueless as to what was going on. ”What’s happening?” she gasped as she galloped along.

Shadow glanced over at penny," were heading to the mountains to hide from the humans " he said thru heavy breaths

" They will and most likely have been, but I think we can hide in the mountains till they leave us alone" shadow says, hoping he's right for the safety of his herd

Zelig joined in with the conversation. ”What about grazing? Isn't it rocky and cold up there?” he asked, voicing his concerns.

" We'll find food, trust me. There's a valley up there, with enough grass to feed the herd untill we can come out again ." Shadow says," at least I hope so" he thinks to himself.
