Tarsel watched Estella come up to Zelig and set him up with Penny. He was annoyed his new friend was gone, just when they were becoming buddies. As the two walked out of sight, he saw Estella chase after Hades.
Tarsel couldn't help but feel sorry for all three of them. Why did they want to go after love anyways? If he wanted to be herd stallion someday, he needed to focus on getting strong and wise, and not get distracted by the small stuff.

He got out of the water shortly afterwards, and set out to find somewhere to lay. After reaching a nice, sunny spot, hades laid down and sprawled out in the sun

She glanced back having expected him to follow, he hadn’t. That was ok. She just had to win him over, soon. She put her head to the water and drank, just a little. Glancing sideways she saw Hades sprawled out in the sun, was he watching her? Of course he was. Who else would he watch? Everyone knew she was the most beautiful filly yearling in the herd

Hades glanced in her direction to see her gawking at him from the river
