I told my husband that if we move again it’s either going to be to Montana, Vermont or New Hampshire. I will take the cold over the heat any day and there is nothing prettier than watching horses in the pasture with a Mountain ViewSummer is mean and it’s too dang hot. Move to New England!!!!!!I told my husband that if we move again it’s either going to be to Montana, Vermont or New Hampshire. I will take the cold over the heat any day and there is nothing prettier than watching horses in the pasture with a Mountain View![]()
I love New England! My husband prefers Montana because it’s colder. He is Norwegian/Russian and says snow is in his dna and “the colder the better”. Although just between us I think he has a screw loose some days because he actually enjoys sub-zero weatherMove to New England!!!!!!

My poor dog keeps biting his bum cause of the stupid green heads (horse flies)I don't necessarily mind the hot weather (well, maybe except when I'm doing hay LOL), and I love the long days and having a garden.
It does bother my horses in that the biting bugs are horrendous, and my horse is black and can overheat in 3 minutes in the sun.
If you have breeds of horses that are prone to sweet itch or insect bite hypersensitivity, you just can't wait for the cool autumn days.
It's very humid where I live too, and that can just make everything feel damp and gross.
