OMGGrullo Friesian x Quarter Horse
A quarter horse of mine lived to be at 30, a warmblood/TB mare lived to be 33-35?, and a pony lived to 35.What's the oldest horse anyone here has ever kept
Buy buy buyyyyyyThere's an 18 hand Clydesdale for sale really close to meeeee
Years ago I rode one named "Regal" and he was the dreamiest horse to look at and ride. I felt like the Queen of England riding that horse. He had the best traits of both breeds combined. Beautiful Friesian head and high set balanced neck that tied in beautifully to his deep chest. He had a perfectly proportioned back and those powerhouse quarter horse hind quarters. One of the smoothest rides, very well mannered, but still a fun ride and wasn't lazy by any means.OMG![]()
Literally my dream horse.
It definitely can be. I am the type of person who loves taking care of their horse just as much as riding so extra grooming has never bothered me. I always groomed my horses daily which made taking care of the one I had with feathered legs fairly easy to stay on top of it.All that leg feathering! Pretty, but a mess to keep nice. Just sayin'.

I use to use a Dr. Cooks bitless bridle on my old Morab mare and really liked it. I definitely agree with the leather as well. I had the beta material with mine and was planning on upgrading to the leather, but ended up buying a new horse and selling my mare before that happened.I do but I live on the other side of the world…so
But there’s a lot of similar bridles out there. Like this one

I’d definitely get a high quality one so the leather will last longer.
