You can get rope halters with rings in the sides designed for riding. But if your horse is properly trained you shouldn’t have issues with bitless

I’m probably trying out a horse on Saturday. An 11 year old 15 hand gelding.

I did.
But It didn’t click. The horse was very sluggish. Definitely not for me. I am used to zoomy ponies and a sluggish horse just won’t work. I also would like to do showjumping (just for fun) and the horse didn’t know how to jump and the sluggishness wouldn’t do for that. So yeah. I’m searching for a horse again

He was very pretty..

PS I was adjusting my stirrup so ignore my horrible outer leg.
