Goodness you should have just gotten a horse!Ugh your horse is less expensive than my Guinea pigs then! Lucky
(Hay, somewhere between 3 and 5 pounds a month, costing me somewhere in the $40 range if I’m lucky, $50+ if not)(every month…)
And then veggies ($5 a week or so if I can find good prices, 10+ if not)
Pellets and vitamin c cookies aren’t too expensive and take a while to go through, thamk goodness
And the vet is 95 for the base appointment, and my two have been in and out of the vet at least a dozen times by now. Knish’s spay last week was only about 600 total, including meds and everything! That was a blessing. Latke needs to go back now that they’ve got copies of her X-rays (those were pretty expensive too) and in conclusion: why did I pick the mini-horse exotics (same digestive system and many similar mannerisms)
