i rode a horse that scares me! (if yall remember me talking about the morgan that made me cry, it's him)
and it went really well! I focused on giving more precise and consistent cues without additional extraneous ones, and I overall stayed much calmer and things worked out well! Also apparently he panics a bit without consistent directions as well, which I relate to so much lol.
The ottb with goldfish brain I ride a lot has 2 modes: going slow to try to get out of work, and going fast to try to get out of work. After several lessons with the latter mode, a horse going faster than I anticipated or asked for isn't so scary anymore :)
