Horses!!!!!!!!

I have been taking lessons for about 10 weeks. Once a week. And I just started to canter!!!!!! Thanks Chickenoverlord. I just wanted to know from a person who actually has a horse. Yeah, I want something like a Morgan.

Ok!!! Do you want a gaited horse or non gaited???

My 18 year old Arab gelding is in perfect health, and is barefoot. He loves, loves, LOVES the woods and long trail rides, and can go forever. Is he to old for endurance? The only way you can tell his age is by his teeth, otherwise he looks like a ten year old. He is greenbroke, but is in training. He loves to jump, and seriously loves to be ridden. Is he to old to start conditioning for endurance riding?

I have a 9 year old, Tennessee Walking/racking horse gelding named Doc. His pasture buddy is a 14 year old Welsh cross named Munchkin.
I trail ride and Just love them to pieces!

I would not say a 18 year old is to old for endurance. If he has good health like you say I would say he would be fine. I don't do endurance but I have done some research about it and I trail ride. If it were me I just would not do like long endurance rides. I would just do shorter ones, but trail riding would probably be fine. He is probably just fine to do it so don't just listen to me ask other people to because like I said I don't knew a lot about endurance I am more of a cutting, reining and jumping person.
