Hello! I have a 9 year old off-track thoroughbred(Woofie) that was saved from slaughter. We trail ride and show locally for fun. My 3 year old daughter has a 23 year old Shetland(Peanut) that we rescued from starving to death in someone's backyard. He's doing a great job of teaching her all the basics. Clearly, rescue is my favorite breed!!!

Well, lol, I love drafts like percherons, and tinkers, but have decided that they might be just a little impractical. So I am now looking at thoroughbreds, Dutch warm bloods, friesians, and Arabian mixes! I would love to get into dressauge, and endurance, so I'm looking at horses that do well at these sports ( and my drafts breeds do not! )

Poor thing had a bad night of colic two nights ago. We were out there until midnight working with her. =(
She is all better now though.

No specific age or breed, yes saddle broke (western), has to be gelding, 11'-13' hands, kid freindly, up to $700. (In Texas)
