Hosing down patio EVERYDAY! So much Poop.

I have 7 free ranging girls and they definitely mess up the patio. I did find that keeping any food/treats and the waterers off helped quite a bit. I have started shoveling it off before spraying so it doesn’t just pile up in the rocks/grass.

Poop happens.....especially if no boundaries when free ranging!

A very close second reason to keep birds confined, predators are number one reason.

My chickens always loved going on the deck. They loved going on the deck more than foraging and eating, because they would all sit there pooping all day long!

We added a fence. They still have a nice large area but they can no longer get to the deck or the walkway.
