hospitalized again...

Hi friends,
Just got home after 6 yucky days in the hospital. I'll go into details later. I'm feeling better right now...hence the reason they let me come come. And yes, it does have to do with my heart in a weird round about way.

hugs...nice to be home and see my girls--as in human....

oh and came home to find a possum in my coop eating MAH duck eggs! nasty bugger. Can't I just come home and sit down on the couch? or is it that I have to whack a possum with a shovel to prove my resilience?

Couldn't catch my breath
sick prob with a virus the tummy bug--plus since I was on 2 diuretics--I ended up being severely dehydrated

Is it my pneumonia? Is it my heart? I think because of the chest pressure...

Don't know...better go to the ER....

Thursday noon....get room upstairs by 8 pm.

Testing... x-rays... blood work....urine and cough cough*the other* catch.... and waiting....

Pumped full of fluids, pulled off the diuretics.... still testing... sat. night I REALLY can't breathe and there's a rattle when I breathe... freaking out... they pull me off the IV and say, whoops, filled you too full of fluids and pump me full of diuretics...have to get some of the fluid out of me because it's putting too much stress on my heart and making it hard to breathe.... stress test done yesterday morning because of heart pain and can't breathe...

found 2 leaky valves in my heart... going to try some new meds... if my blood pressure continues to be low and my heart infraction (how strong my heart pumps) goes down further... then we will talk about a defibrillator.

in addition I have a very sore neck/shoulders and hips.... dr. thinking arthritis/ carpel tunnel??? More tests to be done.

Not feeling very well... stress test was done with meds and had to get lots of it since I'm on a beta blocker in order for them to get the results they needed... had to get heart beats to 150 when I started out at 60. Very unpleasant feeling. Very tired of needles and x rays and testings and not sleeping because they wake me up to do this and take my temp, blood pressure, oxygen.... and held off food for a long time because of the testing.

What a very long long 6 days and I missed my little girls soooo much.

OMG you just mirrored what Ken has gone through over and over and over. Final diagnosis? Heart spasms. WTH??? Aw G I really hope everything is ok with you. You seriously scare me.

I dont know if i ever asked you this before, but..does heart disease run in your family?

heart disease in my family?

My paternal grandpa died of alcoholism in his 80's
" grandma skin cancer in her 80's
My maternal grandfather died of a stroke in his 80's
grandma died in a car accident in her 80's

My dad died of kidney failure due to diabetes at 64 but probably had heart issues as well because of the diabetes, being over weight, not eating healthy, and not exercising, oh and having a high stress job.

and in regards to the valves... I'm not sure... they don't do anything they say... because right now it's mild and give me meds to help my heart. I may look into a second opinion just to be on the safe side.
