great pictures Orpington! Roscoe was playing games here with friends too this weekend!!

Love the working picture. I am not sure if he is watching you, or looking at that chicken at your feet!

Roscoe's visit is coming to an end soon.
I have the next address but could not send him yet as Celeste
would be heartbroken if she did not get to snuggle with him one more time.

During the week, Roscoe went to work with me again one day,
and I found him sitting on the floor reading a "DUCK" book!
He swears that the duck in the book is him. silly bird.

On Saturday, we took Roscoe to Batavia to a 4-H meeting,
but he fell asleep in the car and I left him in there.

After the meeting, we took him to a fun place called The Gravel Pit
and took his picture next to a very large ice Cream Cone.
(it is actually a building, but Roscoe didn't care...
he wanted to show Beaker this cool ice cream cone!)

Just down the road is another landmark in Batavia.
It is a rock called Devil's Rock. As one legend has it,
Satan had somehow escaped from the underworld
and was wreaking havoc upon the earth. Fortunately for us, "a
patrol of angels nabbed him" and chained him to a massive rock a
mile or two outside Batavia on what is now Route 5. Not to be
done in, the Devil ran in circles around the rock, using the friction of
the chain to break his bonds, which he did. For proof, one need
only look at the rock which is worn down around its middle where
the chain is supposed to have dug through the mineral. Once free
of his bonds, the Devil escaped and, to our knowledge, has not
been seen in these parts since.

Scientifically... the rock as the result of glacial shifts of the Tertiary Era

Today, the weather is much cooler and Roscoe asked if he
could have a play date with a bunch of friends that he has
made in Celeste's room... and so they did!

Roscoe and his friends played on a tumble mat.
Here is a picture of Roscoe "wowing" the crowd with a headstand!

Roscoe found glitter glue and wanted to draw...
ooohhh glue and feathers, I wasn't too comfortable with this idea!
They were very careful though. Momma duck helped make sure he was neat.

After the Glue, The little ones and Roscoe played with Leggos.

Then they broke out with the trampoline and jumped on it for a while.

Roscoe says for me to tell you all that he has had such a
great time and thank you!!! He really does love BYC!!!

Roscoe is soooo creative, isn't he? we could tell right away. we are so glad he's having a good time with others. i personally was a little worried he would be nervous getting used to new families, but he's done SO well!

your daughter is a sweetheart! she has added to the BYC landscape of great families!
