So glad they arrived safe & sound. And met a new bird already!!

You know, whoever made Adelaide perfectly captured a broody hen's attitude! Her expression looks JUST like my broody's!!

I tried back tracking but No luck.

So I will try to recreate it.

New Mascots with New Adventures.

I have been Buzy at work and just down right tired when I get home

So Ms Fancy has been doing some catching up with the other Mascots and visiting here around home. Her and Dandy Dancing Dan ( My BD gift from DH this last April) Checked in on the other Mascots.

Everyone watch out! There's a turkey a travelin'!!

We took Ms Fancy on our maiden trip in DH's Boat. When I asked her if she would like to go out on the boat she says

and took off in a flash. Next thing I hear is MS Fancy asking if we need help hooking up the trailer? No thank you we've got it, where are you Ms Fancy? I am waiting out front on the swing glider. Boy she is one fast movin Chicken.

DH asked if Ms Fancy wants to be the first one in the boat.

Silly question of course she does.


Myself and DH get Oh Ms Fancy here you may need to keep this handy. Just need to be on the safe side.


So Dh has got the trollin motor going and off we go.


We saw a couple of other boats come out for fishing. But we were the only boat just out touring the lake. We saw many Birds from Meadow larks to a Blue Heron, fish jumpin, squirrels running through the trees, the lake was full of life. And all too quick for my camera. But then Ms Fancy saw something that upset her. She asked why the folks out on the hills would be chasing poor defenseless eggs with those clubs.

I had to explain to her those folks were using a ball not an egg. They were playing a game called golf.

She was very relieved as she said she didn't want to think the nice folks she had met at the 4th of July BBQ would be mean to poor unhatched babies.


She watched the golfers awhile as they were trying to hit that little ball all over that big pasture into those holes by the flags. She decided it was all pretty silly. I do too Ms Fancy

She thought watching they other boaters fish and bring their catch in was much more exciting.

We all had a very nice time boating on the lake.
