Looks like our other "unofficial mascot" has been having a lot of fun too. Can you share some stories with your pictures, James, so we know what the picture is about. Also, a tip for you-copy the SECOND line below a picture when you upload it-it makes it easier to see without having to blow each picture up individually.

I looked outside to check on the boys. I made them go play outside because I was making stuffed shells for dinner and I REALLY didn't want any "help"

Oh, dear .... Boys, What are you doing?????

"We're playing cartop shuffleboard!"

I opened my car door, and this is what I saw...

I guess I can be thankful that they used all the dogs stuffed toys rather than bricks, or rocks, or something that could scratch up the car. I will definately make sure to keep the sunroof closed. They might get the crazy idea to fill the car with water.

James here again. My human companion and I took the trolly to the convention center. She kept me bagged until then, sharing that it was standing room only crowded, which I believed, but part of me also believes that she was afraid of getting strange looks. The police were well monitoring and keeping troublemakers away, but best not tempt the tipping points of human oddities and spend a minimum time under lock and key for observation purposes. The first group we ran into after leaving the trolly were representatives of the Blood Bank. Standing my ground proudly, I informed them that I was not chicken to donate. ON the upside, Zombie's are not attracted to chicken blood. ON the downside, there is no cold storage facilities for chicken blood. I'm guessing they don't have casualty lists associated with chickens whom trying to cross the road don't make it completely unscathed.

Human's I am told come in many sizes, just as us chickens. Perhaps it would look more natural if they all dressed normally instead of standing out with their clothing. I am told this is now a Princess, that her step-mom was one bad witch. I do not recall seeing either her or her hubby at THE wedding last May. She smelled good. Like fresh apples.

Had to laugh when I saw this. It's supposed to be a new television show on ABC, coming out in the fall. Something about planes and problems with the company. Are you kidding? We fly all the time, and aren't into drama nearly as much. I volunteered to teach them pointers and do ghost writing to clean up their scripts.

Speaking of ghost writing...Ghost rider two coming out. Loved the first one. Was invited to sit on the bike. Tried hard to play it down when people walked by either asking why I got to sit there and they couldn't or thought I was important. Tried to get my human companion to spread a rumor that I was in the movie. She refused.

Another Men In Black movie!!! Yeah!!! Sent in my resume for both a part and/or part of the next movie. Since they have lots of inside jokes, I pushed hard for a visual updated chicken walking across the street one. Suggested a big truck bearing down on me. Me freezing in my tracks, then WHAM! turning into a big scary chicken to sit and smash it. They promised to get back to me on that idea.

Behind the handlebars of the above bike. And you thought it wasn't REAL? PLLLLLEEEEAZZZZZE!

Another Total Recall movie, no, sorry, no Arnold. But boy oh boy, what a HOT car!!!! Should have seen everyone's jaw's drop when I got to sit up there. Everyone else had to stay behind the line. I looked for the key. Anyone wanna go for a ride?

What everyone wants to wear during the Total Recall time slot:

98328_147.jpg

Yes, sat in on some panel discussions. Awsome!: Bruce Campbell (my human drooled all over me) from Burn Notice; Covert Affairs; Psch; Warehouse 13; Eurika (drooling all over Colin's name, what is with her?) Myth Busters, and some practical writing classes and voice overs.

98328_148.jpg

Indiana Jones and his Dad and a Knight of the Templar were in line with me to see Psych!!!!!!!!!!! I was nearly speachless, even when someone whispered they might not be the real guys. Yeah, right....

98328_104.jpg

And Star Wars space fighters in the Psych line!!! Wow! We shared credencials, but theirs are so much better. I volunteered for a space mission. Just as long as I stay away from that giant slug thing.

98328_084.jpg

My Hero, C3PO from Star Wars. And, oh, his accent is REAL. Totally as nice off camera as on. Excellent manners, yet warm with a natural sense of humor!

98328_083.jpg

My human promised her granddaughter this pic, My Pretty Pony is all the rage for girls under the Justin B. age.
98328_081.jpg

Transformers, who started the rumor that they are so big-headed off camera? They are gentle giants, but beware when they laugh, you'll find yourself in the next room!

98328_076.jpg

Wow. Had no idea Warner Brothers had so many fun things going on!
98328_078.jpg

Who doesn't llike Leggos? Add a life-sized replica of Batman, and me on his shoulder, and boy, my imagination was moving at Bat-speed!
98328_074.jpg

INto the belly of the exibit hall where all the fun starts....
98328_067.jpg

Got to try out all the latest games, some before they hit the market.

This military artist was great! Putting up a strong growly face most of the time, but when I explained what I was doing, he went all soft. Said his Mom and Dad raised chickens when he was little, and loved 'em.
98328_063.jpg

Steven Speilberg was there. Ray Bradbury, Stan Lee, all my human's favs.

By the end of the weekend, this is what I needed, but modified for poultry:

Thank you. At first, I felt very uncomfortable as an adult woman carrying around a stuffed chicken puppet. But after veiwing all the other enthusiastic types, figured I wouldn't get noticed much. Until I walked boldly up to specific people whom I hoped were the right ones in garnering an answer for pics. I was very surprised at how a simple request opened doors in sharing parts of their respective pasts in growing up. It didn't take long for me to get into the spirit of the thing. The only problem I had was in taking pics while inside panels. The camera isn't built for sticking a chicken into a pic with a very long shot of others. Either the chicken was blurred or the panel folks looked like nicely dressed ants.
