Hot composting with chicken bedding and garden waste

I don't know what's wrong, the box has gone down to +6C again. I think I'm going to wait a while to get a bit more stuff on the other side too and try to heat both up at the same time, that way it will hold heat better. In the spring I probably have to clean out the drainpipe properly so that it gets air in that way. I think it might be a bit low on oxygen, whenever it starts heating up, the ice that forms when the warm moist air hits the cold outside air seals the leaky parts that normally provide it with fresh air. Another option would be to put in some vents high up on the box. I should probably start adding some magical homemade compost waker fluid when I try to heat it up again.

Scott, no trouble, but it hasn't heated up either. Sitting at about +7C at the moment, I'll try to activate it once I get a bit more mass in it again.
