Hot Ducks- what can I do?

If you dont need to re-use the containers maybe drill some good sized holes in the sides for increased airflow. You could also wrap some cold packs in a towel and put it at one end.

My ducklings are 6 weeks and have most of their feathers. They have a pool in the backyard to swim in whenever they are outside so you might not have to wait too much longer.

We have figured out a spot to let them hang out- outside. It can still be scaled by the neighbor cat but they will have room to move. It's about 35 feet from their coop door- so getting them over there will be awkward. But once there they can hang out. Someone will be working on the coop so they will have some supervision. :D Hopefully they like that. Tonight they will spend their first night in their house- I think they will like it.

These were bought specifically for brooders. I have 8 babies coming this week and I will have hubby drill some holes in them- that's a great idea! Thank you!
