I just bought the janoel12 incubator and i turned it on and it smells just like when you are using hot glue. Is that bad?

Alright thanksIt could be bad since it is brand new and sealants still haven't cured completely.
I'd keep it on and occasionally open it or even just open it a crack till the smell is gone.
I would also call the manufacturer and see what they say about it.
oh, and I have successfully hatched 6 healthy chicks using the incubatorI had the same experience with mine. The smell went away after a week or so
