Hot glue smell coming from incubator

I just bought the janoel12 incubator and i turned it on and it smells just like when you are using hot glue. Is that bad?

It could be bad since it is brand new and sealants still haven't cured completely.
I'd keep it on and occasionally open it or even just open it a crack till the smell is gone.
I would also call the manufacturer and see what they say about it.

I had the same experience with mine. The smell went away after a week or so

oh, and I have successfully hatched 6 healthy chicks using the incubator

I think a while lot of mine died the first night of incubation

If so, about the only thing that would kill them in that short a period of time is high temperature. Sustained temp over 104F will kill them.
