Hot in Texas

    Are there any breeds better for hot summers than others when eggs are the goal ?
    Have plenty of tree shade

    The Mediterranean breeds are heat tolerant as well as the Naked Necks (Turkin). If you have plenty of shade you can pretty much get just about most breeds. I have Black Australorps, Welsummers, and Barred Rock.
