Hot peppers in feed?

Hello :welcome :)

Hot pepper is good for the circulation and helps to reduce many health issues in humans.

I read many times that it keeps mice away from the chickens feed and also it can help too keep mold and diseases away but we all have our different idea's. So that's is only imo 🤔

Good to have you aboard 😀

I know someone who claims hot peppers is good to keep the chickens laying all winter.
@chickengr

To all (@Kiki) , who say you need to give layer :
That’s an opinion. Not a rule you have to obey at all times.

If you let you’re chickens free range in a lush and poison free garden, its perfectly fine to give no layer, but scratch at the end of the day. If there is enough and a variety of food available (where I live from spring till autumn) . Do provide oyster shells aside.

In winter , if the chickens don’t lay, you can give all flock or layer mixed with grower.

And of course, welcome 🤗 Buttercupand….
