Hot weather hens

Hi y'all I'm a life time farmer rancher just retired to the Sonoran desert from the opposite climate miss having hens looking for contenders I'm still having to pack water for my garden other pets and personal use so would need to take that into consideration also sand is the only ground I have other than my vertical veggie and herb garden I'm coming from lush green pastures high humidity and deep freezes in winter to hot and dry and cold and dry if anyone has any ideas for breed selection game breeds are not out of the question as I don't mind guard chickens lol and I have no neighbors to bother either. Welcome. Some heat tolerant chickens are EE, orphingtons, welsummer, white leg horn. As you know, most chickens, even the ones I listed, do better in cold weather rather than hot
