Has anyone found a timer that works for misters? The timer I have can't be set for more than 4 hours. I've been looking at some of the sprinkler timers out there, but i'm not finding the answers I need. I need something that will go for up to 10 hours.

I work nights, and right now that means that the misters need to come on while i'm asleep and shut off after I've left for work. I'd really like a timer to do that task for me.

Walmart sells a timer that you actually set the time. Then set the on time and off time. I bought mine 3 years ago. It cost us almost $40 and it's green. The only problem we found was that it eats batteries. So we invested in rechargeables for it. This late in the year they may be out.

We being in AZ just leave our misters on for our dogs 24/7 and our bill has only gone up $20 a month.

I can't leave them on 24/7 right now because the misters are spread over the broiler pen and the brooder box with the other chicks. Leaving them on would soak the brooder box.

I'm hoping that if I got a sprinkler timer I could set it to go off multiple times a day in a row to keep it going as long as I need it to.
