we are having a heat wave around 35'C in BC, Canada and I am bit worried about my 13 weeks old chicks.
They have plenty of water but should I do anything else or are they good in heat? Thank you.

I've heard that heat waves are really bad all over the place. Because of this, there is a lot of good information out there on what to do.

Here are some tips:
Set up a fan
Set up a sprinkler/mister
Put ice in the water and feed cold fruits like watermelon
Supply plenty of shade
Watch for signs of difficulty walking or gasping for air (not just panting) and quickly dip these chickens in a cool (not cold) water bath to bring their temperatures down.

Best of luck!
