hotlinking

I have quick question.

If I post the the img code from my pictures hosted here at BYC on another forum, am I hotlinking?

I need to know because if I am I have a lot of pictures to take down. TY

Any time you post http://websiteA.com/picture.gif [img] in to website B then you are hot linking.

Any picture that is not hot linked, when you right click it an click property's, it should have the same starting URL as the website it is on.

Its where you post a picture from one site on to a different site without moving the actual file.
