Houdan chickens?

do the roosters have red around their beaks & ears?? I have 12 straight run Houdans that are almost 5 weeks old. Several of them have very red skin on their faces around their beaks. When I first noticed it I thought it was blood but looking closer it seems to be just skin coloring.

How come Houdans look so much like Polish?

I have a couple of them in my asst crested order!! They are about 6 weeks old. I will look at them when I get home and see if they have that.
