House Chicken Using Stairs

I made a discovery. The pullet poops everywhere. She is being left outside during work day with flock based around house. She will be brought back inside to finish day and roost.

May need a large cage like used for parrots during day. Nest can be placed in there too.
No wonder your mom doesn’t like her in the house!

Penny on bed during day.

Penny lying next to me on bed at roost time. She opted to hang with me over roosting up as she did two prior nights.

Shortly after taking second photograph, I went downstairs to work with kids on homework. Penny followed and messed around as we studied. I then took her upstairs and placed her on roost with light turned down so we could continue studies prior to bed.
She’s really pretty!

You can use disposable face masks for chicken diapers, hooking the ear loops over the wings…

We are into second day with being an indoor - outdoor chicken. Pullet has chosen a rooster to associate with and I collected her from roost next to him just after dark. I brought her in for additional feeding before she went promptly to roost above shower. Care is taken to orient backside over actual shower basin rather than floor. In morning she comes down to drink and feed up. She has no problem standing between us as we get dressed. Then she goes out with a handful of feed and half a bell pepper to start day outside.

For now we will be using lots of paper towels and reducing time she can crap at random on the floor. Promoting pasty butt makes for a smelly bird.
Guess I missed it - why do you have a house chicken? Also, I think there's diapers specifically designed for chickens that minimize the poo on the rear - if you're having issues with that, there's probably more/better options out there.
