House Chickens ?

So do any of you have house chickens. My poor husband is a saint! I currently have 2 outside coops. But I also keep a bachelor flock of Serama rooster in my downstairs family room. I have 6 boys and 5 am around my house is something! I am in search of a young female chick or pullet that is white or white speckled, something light in color to keep with a little girl that is too small to put outside. She’s already a lap bird.

I've had a house chicken for about 6 years now. She has special needs due to an injury when she was a chick. But she is an awesome pet and even though a messy one still the most loveable and comical pet I think I've ever had. That being said I have hundreds of chickens that are just chickens who are always outside.

We do!! 4 silkies and 2 polish babies in the house now. They the absolute best! Cuddly as a puppy without the slobber XD

Absolutely! It's still under construction but once it's done I'm happy to share with you

I do. She’s almost 8 and is the best pet ever!! She has sisters outside but was bullied as a chick with scissor beak so she became a part time house chicken. She comes and goes during the day much like a cat. At night she “tucks in” in the house on a cat tower where she can roost. She lays her eggs in the box of the cat tower. Works perfectly!!

I have four silkie bantam hens and a rooster at home. They are so sweet and bring so much joy to us. I have a brahma hen )Penny) and she refused to go out to the garden so... She gives me company every where I go. LoL
