House Goose Thread

Even check this out! Two buffs and a Toulouse, I'm going to raise one of the buffs (either the male or female) in the house

Everybody meet Lemon! He's a Toulouse/Embden cross that had to have a fully assisted hatch, he may turn out white but I'm hoping he ends up a dilute gray! He is currently five hours old.

Maybe Lemon should be a House Goose too since he had a rough start?

He is absolutely heart warming.

His brother egg died right when I think he was about to pop out... So now he's alone. I have some four day old geese in the brooder he could live with but he can't walk too well yet. I may keep him inside ;)

He's just a baby Carr. He'll quiet down. It's no different than bringing home a new puppy who will cry for a few nights. Don't sweat. Does he have softies to snuggle with in his cage? Cas has a rotation (because they sometimes get pooped on!) of stuffed critters that he likes to snuggle with at bedtime. That dramatically quieted his crying after the first night.

He's got a giant stuffed Moose that fills the entire back of the cage haha! We picked that one because my LGD's name is Moose. When I shut off the light he went straight into that "trilling" mode, I didn't know geese could snore! ;)
