House is ours! Progress thread..=)

Did some patch painting on the outside. Re-fixed some plumbing. Cleaned out the coop and added bedding. I'll be adding chicken wire to the top of the run and hopefully be moving the birds this weekend!
Washed the wood floor, it still needs professional fixing/Finishing, but it's good enough for now.

Congrats to your new home.

If you didn't live so far away, Id come do all your painting for free.

If it can be painted, I can paint it. I'm an out of work painter.

No one wants to hire a chick that went to school just for industrial and residential painting. Go figure.

Oh and Congrats on your new home!

:weeeWith every project you tackle and complete the house will become more and more yours. Congratulations and enjoy every improvement. It looks like you have some good bones to work with. Their will be times you are discouraged, but keep the end goal in mind. Have fun and be happy in your new home.

Changed out the bathroom faucet[took forever!], low water pressure and dirty. Will have to open the pipes to see what is going on...
Also finished attaching the new metal fencing on top of the run. Added dirt around the fence line to keep them from going out. Moving the birds tomorrow or the next day.
Got a new shower rod and curtain. We decided to leave the tub and just fix it up. The contractors all wanted $6,000 or more and all they had to do was move the drain a few inches, move up the handles and install the bottom and side walls....6k for that? Hah! No way...We will be using the money we save on a new tv and pool...Kyle really wants that pool...lol.
Bought a doormat, wanted to get an area rug, but all the nice ones are $60+!!!

Moved all of the adult birds and most of the younger ones. Left one broody in the coop alone with her eggs, 1 hatched so far. Do you think she will be ok alone for a few days? Sunday I will bring her and the hatch into the garage. Rest of the eggs will go into the bator to give them more time.

Babydoll sheep ewes won't be ready until July, boo!
