Technically they/them is appropriate for singular use. What do you use when you can't tell the gender of a telemarketer by the sound of their voice. "Yeah, they said..."

@PeepersMama I wrote in Arrow’s form that her father got fatally wounded in a border fight (while she was still in Lupus) and at about the same time Hailstone beat up some Lupus dog on a border fight. So, if Hailstone killed Arrow’s father (she’s now in Canis) and she found out, that would be pretty interesting..
