I'll put the Dragon tree in the plant hospital, aka the dining room in front of the big windows.. And repot it.

I thought my devils ivy was dead but I was persistant in watering it and keeping it in the sun and it came back to life!!

Yes! I don't know sciency names... I like watering my plants, soo most of mine end up with root rot. My spider plant loves water though and she (I named her noodles).. is thriving!!.. My Snake plant I try not to water too often, she has a babyyy <3.. I stick my finger in the soil and if its moist or soil sticks to my finger, I leave it alone. If its dry, i water the plants..

this is my second madagascar dragon tree, killed the first one b/c root rot already. Maybe they just aren't the plant for me
They are really hard plants to keep alive. Sometimes the dirt test doesn’t work, and you should just go by a schedule. In the winter, water it less, as it’s going through a dormant period and doesn’t need it to grow. During the summer water more because it will need the energy. Two to three times a month will do it fine.

Okie, I'll do that.. Don't water the precious dragon tree, even though you really really really want to

Pothos are easy. When it’s thirty, it will droop snd look sad. Then just minutes after you quench its thirst it perks right back up!

my dad had a massive dragon tree he kept in his office with no sunlight and barley any water and it was HUGE and looked so healthy! I wanted to give it a shot, but mine keep dying. I'm not a very good hands off plant keeper.

Know of any plants that like water ? I like taking care of my children

I was watering it alot when it looked dead, now that its healthy and clearly alive, should I keep doing the finger test, or keep it on a schedule? usually if i walk by and the soil looks dry, I stick my finger in there and if its dry I'll water.. no real schedule

If you want you can root one of your cuttings in water and let it live there forever. I have an Arrowhead cutting living with a Chinese Evergreen cutting both which have been in water for nearly a year. All you do is fill up their jars after a couple weeks!

Keep it on a schedule, see what makes it happy
