New baby is settling in beautifully!! Her name is Cooper and I believe she will be blue :)
Spending every minute I am home holding her...she already knows the sound of my voice and starts chirping like crazy when she hears me! Even at night, she is awesome...I put her in her little tote that is half on a heating pad, and throw in her heated " microwave buddy" ( a fleece bag filled with barley), and within 5 minutes she is sound asleep! And STAYS quiet until my alarm goes off...crazy...I never thought I would spoil a chicken...Lol...but here I am!

Hello, and welcome from Nebraska! Congrats on the Silkie! I have a little Silkie hen too! She is named Echo! They are fun chickens are s funny looking! I tame down my chickens from 24 hours old, and they act much like the little chick did to your daughter! It sounds like this little hen will be spoiled! Have fun!
