House Sparrow in my chicken coop.

So it was raining yesterday in so cal and I found a house sparrow in my chicken coop. What am I supposed to do??

You should get it out if you can. Birds can carry mites which can transfer to your flock, not something you want to deal with.

Ok got it!! I heard that house sparrows are considered pests.

I think that the house sparrow can't fly because it has a wing that almost fell out maybe because a feral cat grabbed the birds wing.

Hello Daniel. How are you sure it's injured? Could you provide pictures? I'd probably just leave it...maybe put a little lice powder in it's little home (if it has one).

Have you got any anti-septic spray for birds? If you want to treat it, of course. If it's injured, I'd feel a little sorry and let it stay for the time being
