houseplants

I have a Christmas cactus in my kitchen that I have to water every other day. I watered it this morning and Tuesday morning it will be bone dry. I guess that is why it blooms all the time. lol

What's that purple clover-leaf plant called? It has "peanuts" for the roots.

I've got several of these. They are dormant right now and look like hell, but should be perking up shortly.

Exactly Redhen....I want them for my ducks. It grows pretty well if you have enough nutrients in the water. For starters I would put them in some containers in the house. Once I get it to spread, some is going in to the little duck pond.

Since duckweed grows so fast, just a small baggie should work I think.

Wifezilla and redhen,

I have enough to send to both of you! Had to run out and check to make sure the container ponds hadn't overflowed bad enough to wash out the duckweed after I made that post. We had a "toad drowner" going on at the time.

Lowered the water levels incase we get more rain tonight.

Y'all can PM or e-mail and we'll work it out that way, okay?

I am going to bag up my stuff tomorrow for sending. The weather finally got better so it shouldn't freeze solid
