Housing bantams and red rocks.

Can I mix bantams and red rocks? I'm getting some chicks today ( red rocks ) and was thinking of also getting some bantams as well I was wondering if I can put them in the same coop/run. Thanks!!

Once they are older, you can absolutely keep them together. Bantams are fiesty and won't have any problems keeping up with the others. I have a bantam rooster in with my hens, and he's "in charge."

However, I usually keep the bantam and normal size chicks separate until the bantams are a little bigger. Just to keep them from getting crushed...
