Housing for cornish X

Wow, ok I didnt know this. Thats something to consider, are cornishxs the way to go with meat birds?

If you want quick growth and good feed conversion, for cooking like chicken you get at the store, they are definately the way to go. If you want more of the stew / chicken 'n dumplings / slow roasting birds, I would go with dual-purpose. Way better flavor! Not as much meat, and not as cost-effective to raise. Also, Cornish X have about an 8 week growout period, from start to slaughter. Dual-Purpose have a 20-22 week or more growout period. But I like the dual purpose better!
