Housing for winter

I know what you mean, in my case this is my second winter with ducks. Last winter i had two and now i have eight left out of nineteen. My age has alot to do with not jumping up everytime i see something on the camera unless it looks serious. All the kids and grandkids have moved out so these little guys are my kids now, lol. I'm hopeing to get a two camera set up with motion sencor for Christmass. I think i said that loud enough, lol. I keep saying i need one for in the coop and in the run. Nice to hear from someone else who takes their ducks seriously. Angie.

Missy5 - good luck with the cameras and motions set up - we have one and it saves the nervous human a lot of miles to windows and such!

I know when my hens go awol and when neighbors dogs are about - and can check camera to see how things are in the duck house.

Our dachshunds were obsessed with the duck cam when we first set it up. They kept looking behind the tvs for the ducks.

OMG, that is so cute. My pug and podle sit by the door of the run and watch the chickens and ducks run around. The rooster scares them off every now and then. You're right the camera is here so i can stop running back and forth all day checking on them. Angie.

After I get everyone put up in the evening, I open all the gates so my 3 dachshunds and mixed can patrol the area. They are still fenced in but they can have ascess to the whole area, makes me feel a whole lot better. Have to get my game camera set up still.
what a cute pic of the dogs watching duck tv.
